29 - Nicholas County Potato Festival

Honoring the potato crop of the year.  Many activities abound, including 5K walk/run, crafts, parades, bluegrass and southern rock music, food vendors, potato eating contest, pageants, and antique car show.  For more information, contact Reanna Underwood at (304) 872-1211. 

 

29 - Summersville Memorial Hospital Spud Run

In association with the Nicholas County Potato Festival, race day activities include: 5K Run, 5K Walk, Kids Tater Tot Trot, Spud Hunt, Spud Decorating contest, Potato Sax Races, and Kids Tater Tot Run. 

Registration 8:00 am, Race Time 9:00 am
