Summersville Arena and Conference Center

The Summersville Arena and Conference Center is nestled into the mountains of scenic Summersville, WV which is the perfect meeting point for everyone in the state. Summersville is centrally located in West Virginia and is a short and pleasant drive from most major interstates which also makes for easy access from adjoining states.

Built in 2005 by the West Virginia Army National Guard with cooperation from the James H. Ferguson family, the City of Summersville, the Nicholas County Commission and numerous others, the Summersville Readiness Center includes a 24,000 square foot Arena and a 3,700 square foot Conference facility. Capable of accommodating both large and small groups, this center is easily accessible from Rt. 19 directly behind Northside Development. The Arena is ideal for trade shows and can be quickly converted into a sporting arena with a portable hardwood basketball court with 2,000 seats for basketball games and 2,400 seated for performances. The Arena has regular seating with back and seat for a more comfortable use. The seats collapse and retract leaving an open arena that has multiple uses, such as trade show and expositions. The Convention Center Area is multi-purpose area suited to the needs of conventions, meetings, trainings, receptions, and more. The area is fully carpeted with twelve foot ceilings and could accommodate 400+ seated. It also has the capability to be partitioned into six separate smaller rooms which could accommodate 25 to 100 comfortably.

The Summersville Arena and Conference Center provides on-site catering featuring, “The Celtic Cook”, owned and operated by Beth Goette. Beth provides an array of delicious menus, hot or cold, for any type of event.

Surrounding the Summersville Arena and Conference Center are a multitude of amenities including 6 major hotels, which offer close to 500 rooms, and 22 restaurants for easy access. Summersville also offers beautiful scenery and wonderful recreation opportunities including, whitewater rafting, boating, hiking, biking, and golfing to name just a few.
